The Canyon at Peace Park is seeking a dynamic and talented RC Supervisor/LVN.

The Canyon at Peace Park is a private, secluded retreat in the beautiful hills of Malibu, California. Our treatment philosophy is simple: specialized, cutting-edge care, recovery plans tailored to the individual, a supreme healing environment, and a program that addresses both substance use and co-occurring mental health conditions. In a compassionate, fine-tuned approach, we treat the whole person.

The RC Supervisor, LVN provides exemplary leadership and supervision of program logistics, including day-to-day operations, program schedules, and milieu and related activities.  This role is part of a highly skilled team of individuals, driven by a passion to help people break free from the hold of addiction.  The Supervisor supports the RC Manager in the oversight and coordination of residential services and providing professional treatment and care to residents. In addition, this position is responsible for the Infection Prevention program at the facility. The ideal candidate will have the ability to inspire our patients’ confidence in both our staff and the FRN Model of Treatment, by being both knowledgeable and compassionate.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Supervision of Residential Counselors
  • Performs and coordinates general counseling responsibilities
  • Coordinates residential milieu
  • Provides direct care for clients
  • Client Relations
  • Provides Oversight for Clinical Support Services
  • Provides Oversight for Infection Prevention Program


Job Requirements

Position Requirements:

  • Associates Degree required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree (psychology, social work or related field) highly desired.
  • Must possess a current California LVN or license in goodstanding.
  • Must possess and maintain a current BLScertification.
  • Must possess and maintain a current California Driver’s License and be in good standing with the CADMV.
  • Minimum of three years’ experience working in a health field orequivalent.
  • Experience working with co-occurring disorders stronglypreferred.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule due to the 24/7environment.
