**ROLE SUMMARY**



The Production Control Clerk is responsible for planning and controlling work activities in and between the production control group, manufacturing, label room, receiving, production planning, and SQ/MQ to ensure complete and timely delivery of materials required to support planned manufacturing schedules.







**ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES**







+ Responsible for planning and controlling work activities in and between the production control group, manufacturing, label room, receiving, production planning, and SQ/MQ to ensure complete and timely delivery of materials required to support planned manufacturing schedules.



+ Utilize data 3 software, in integrated manufacturing control system, and the stock locator system action plans to support each manufacturing activity, including adjustments to schedules, with consideration of labor efficiency, equipment utilization, and material availability.



+ Coordinate several, and frequently, incomparable functions while maintaining flexibility to cope with deviations in product forecasts and manufacturing schedules.



+ Separate batch record documents, issue commodities to work orders.







**QUALIFICATIONS**







+ H.S. Diploma or GED



+ Two years of computer experience performing duties as listed above plus two years of clerical experience required.



+ Working knowledge of production planning and inventory control preferred.



+ Prefer a sound materials management background with a demonstrated ability to coordinate employees in meeting overall departmental objectives.



+ Ability to anticipate and analyze particulars of delays to schedules, material shortages, manufacturing capabilities, and other variable s to arrive at the optimum business decision.



+ Ability to work overtime as required.



+ Must be able to recognize action (i.e. stock locator/ daily financial).



+ Ability to coordinate several, and frequently, incomparable functions while maintaining flexibility to cope with deviations in product forecasts and manufacturing schedules.







**PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS**







+ Respond to visual, audible, color or special visual indicators.



+ Stand up to 1-3 hrs, sit up to 4-7 hrs, twist at waist 10 times/hr, use computer terminal 7 hrs/shift.



+ Work around moving equipment



+ Work in hot or cold environment



+ Regularly lift up to 30 lbs 20 times/shift, occasionally life maximum of 50 lbs per activity 3 times/shift.







**NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS**







**Sunday Thru Thursday, 11p.m. - 7:30 a.m.**
