Join our SWHS Team of Professionals!

SWHS consists of two acute-care hospitals:  Inland Valley Medical Center and Rancho Springs Medical Center. 

Inland Valley Medical Center, a 122 bed acute care hospital which features the regions only Level II Trauma Unit and is the county-designated Paramedical Base station and Southwest Riverside County’s only Center of Excellence in Weight Loss Surgery.

Rancho Springs Medical Center, a 120 bed acute care hospital which includes the region’s largest birthing center along with the area’s only NICU in combination with Rady Children’s Hospital and the region’s  first da Vinci Robotic Surgical Program.

As SWHS Recruiter, you would be responsible for implementing recruitment and staffing strategies with special emphasis on well-qualified, values centered, diverse pool of candidates.  Responsible for guiding hiring managers and candidates through the SWHS selection process, ensuring seamless on-boarding that is cost effective and timely. Performs full lifecycle recruiting and maintains excellent relationships with hiring managers, candidates, and the community at-large. A wide degree of creativity, near-and long term recruiting vision and strategy, business understanding, and personal organization is required.

Job Requirements

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS

  • Strong knowledge of lifecycle recruitment and Human Resources Management (e.g. recruitment, employee relations, compensation, benefits, employee health)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of major areas of employment law to include ADA, FMLA, and Discrimination. 
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize workload and to develop an organized plan of processing and follow through.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.

MINIMUM ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE

  • 3 years of continuing advanced responsibilities in Recruitment/Retention and Human Resources service disciplines for multi-sites and/or a large organization. Acute hospital experience preferred.

MINIMUM ESSENTIAL EDUCATION

  • High School Diploma.
  • AA Degree in related field required. 
  • In lieu of AA degree 7 years of direct experience and Human Resources Certificate, PHR, SHRMCP, CRS, or CHCR.

REQUIRED LICENSURE / CERTIFICATIONS

Certified HealthCare Recruiter (CHCR), Certified Recruitment Specialist (CRS) Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or SHRM Professional Certification (SHRMPC) preferred.
