Description:

Prudential’s Global Information Security Office (ISO) is seeking a talented Systems Analysis and Development Associate, with a focus on the Identity and Access Management (IAM) system. Position will utilize software coding and design, as well as engineering skills to develop new functionality, as well as update or revise old, existing logic within the RSA VIA Access and Identity Management product. Ideal candidate will assist in development of forms, workflows, transferring of business requirements into application logic within the scope of the product. Candidate must have good programming skills and be a creative thinker -- able to devise system and programming alternative approaches. Ability to work within a team environment as well as independently is essential. This position is for an individual who is a self-starter, who can take the initiative, think creatively, and problem solve. Ability to expedite and deliver on assigned tasks in a timely manner is required. Coding, debugging, designing and highly accurate documentation skills are also required.

 

This position includes BAU tasks for daily operations, new initiative work, upgrades, maintenance, vendor patches, and updates within the product that support ISAMS/RSA VIA product. Working within a diverse and dynamic environment, adhering to operational and change management processes in a timely and effective manner without disruption to the flow of deliverable output to supported business areas.

 

The individual in this role will support ISAMS daily operations as well as develop new functionality. Experience with RSA VIA L&G, or IAM products is a plus. Knowledge and experience with Linux/Unix command line, SQL, JavaScript and java are required. Experience with workflow engines a plus. Knowledge and understanding of Active Directory and/or RACF mainframe is a plus.


  • Ability to learn and apply new technologies, while working in partnership with other areas to capture and collaborate on business system requirements
  • Must be able to work within a team environment as well as independently
  • Programming experience with JavaScript required, including AJAX
  • Experience with databases and writing SQL code
  • Programming experience with Java, including JSP programming
  • Familiarity with the configuration of complex application server systems.  (e.g., WildFly, JBOSS or WebSphere) or developing applications for them
  • Demonstrated experiences in managing multiple priorities
  • Ability to troubleshoot and perform technical duties on multiple projects concurrently
  • Good oral and written communication skills, familiarity with enterprise business tools such as Microsoft Office, Excel, Word and Office 365
  • BS in Computer Science, related field or equivalent work experience required
  • Pluses:
  • Programming of web based applications required, knowledge of how web services, REST APIs, JSON, etc. work and how to use them
  • Use of DBMS tools such as Squirrel or DBVisualizer
  • Usability engineering and experience with GUI design
  • Familiarity with enterprise scale RDBMS (Oracle) and writing complex SQL
  • Knowledge of file i/o handling, understanding of OS command line for Unix/Linux
  • Experience creating cron batch processes, automation techniques and maintenance processes, etc.
  • Proven user experience in Unix/Linux systems and developing ad-hoc scripting using languages such as powershell, etc.
  • Understanding of OS (operating system) services, registry settings, and group / local / global policy for Unix, Linux and Experiecne with Windows server operating systems
  • Experience with ServiceNow and ServiceNow APIs
  • Major Pluses:
  • Experience with RSAs Identity and Access Management product
  • Experience engineering access governance systems, user identity provisioning, account access controls and/or associated technology processes, such as IBM’s Tivoli Identity Manager (ITIM), Directory Integrator (TDI) or similar access request and identity management tools
