Description **ROLE SUMMARY**

This position reports to the Sr Mgr/TL Business Systems within the Supply Chain Operations (SCO) department and provides primary manufacturing systems level support to Planning, Warehouse, Quality and Mfg Operations. Where issues cannot be resolved by the site, assists in initiating system helpdesk requests and/or system break/fix requests. Additional duties include master data support and maintenance, training and implementation of changes following the appropriate documentation in compliance with cGMP. Active in reviewing current SAP and AMPS configurations and business processes to drive both system and process efficiency improvements. Where SAP enhancements are needed, actively works with site customers, site Business Technology (BT) and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) Core teams to develop enhancement requests. Reviews new system functionality with ERP Core and conducts training to support enhancement implementations. Leads cultural change to use SAP as tool to take business decisions.



**ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES**



+ Provide material master data support to site core systems: AMPS, SAP, MIC (MBR), etc.

+ Performs first line troubleshooting and/or necessary training for SAP system or process related issues.

+ Escalates unresolved issues to BT HelpDesk and works with support teams to identify and resolve.

+ Develops metrics and monitors the effectiveness of the various manufacturing systems.

+ Participates in the development of business reporting and provides accurate and timely information to management for business decisions.

+ Support the implementation of local and corporate projects.

+ Support the AMPS system EBR and Weigh and Dispense implementations and system upgrades.

+ Identifies areas of opportunity to improve effectiveness of the operations and works with the site manufacturing Hoshin process to move projects through to completion.

+ Ensures that technical knowledge is up to date. Attends appropriate training as offered by SAP and AMSP Core Teams.

+ Assists with the development of standard work and business processes for SAP, AMPS and related mfg systems.



**QUALIFICATIONS**



+ Communication Skills - written and verbal

+ Associates degree in Business Administration or related field or a minimum of 7 years site experience.

+ Should have a minimum of 2 years of exposure to SAP ECC, AMPS, MBR and BI/BOBJ Reporting.

+ 5 plus years combined experience in one or more areas within Supply Chain Operations, Quality Operations, DP/API Operations.

+ APICS Certification a plus.



Office environment primarily; may need to go into Logistics/Warehouse locations or Manufacturing areas as needed to support site operations.



**NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS**

Primary work schedule on first shift; may need to meet with second and third shift colleagues periodically as needed.
