What You'll Do 
As digitization starts to become relevant to all types of business, Cisco has to endeavor to be more relevant than ever before to our customers. Although digitization will create more opportunities for Cisco's technologies, it will also increase the competitive intensity, as many technology companies look to influence our customers about how and where to invest their technology budgets.
The role of TechOps Leader has never been more critical to Cisco, as we look to truly align our technical differentiation across multiple product lines, while evolving in a world that is much more software driven than ever before.  It is therefore crucial that our technical community is led at an EMEAR level by a leader who can clearly set out the right direction for our technical community, while motivating the teams to evolve their skills in this new Digital world.

*	Understand the key transitions of our customers and the market in EMEAR
*	Be a visionary and motivational leader for the SE community in EMEAR
*	Act as strong EMEAR stakeholder to WW Engineering, to ensure EMEAR's needs are understood
*	Influence BE stakeholders to drive product roadmaps and investment strategy
*	Build a strong tech ops community, that is aligned across our 8 theatres and 4 architectures
*	Build peer relations with other GEO's to help adopt best practice into EMEAR were appropriate.
*	Influence WW enablement to provide the appropriate levels of training for our technical community in EMEAR
*	Drive the technical enablement strategy for our technical communities on infrastructure products
*	Main EMEAR escalation point for 2ND AND 3RD line technical support on critical accounts situations
*	Lead technical community with confidence, integrity and passion
