In your role as a sales System Engineer, you will partner with our Virtual Sales Account Managers in a pre-sales technical role, showcasing Cisco product solutions. You will design business relevant solutions for your customers through direct account interaction and partner responsibilities in your assigned geography. You'll share your expertise with customers, partners, account managers, and your fellow systems engineers to help drive successful outcomes for our customers.

Our minimum requirements for this role:

* Science, Technology, Economics or Mathematics related major
* 5+ years of industry related experience in a pre-sales role
* Knowledge in supporting and working with Service Providers or Wireless Operator OR Good generalist knowledge across Cisco's solutions set
* Industry knowledge of relevant solutions sets, product line specifications, performance criteria and applications
* Competitive knowledge (in area of specialization) including solution, technology and product offerings
* Excellent written and verbal communication, listening, and strong presentation skills
* Fluent in English, both written and spoken
* CCNP, CCIE certifications and industry certifications are a plus
* Understands the value of Scripting, Software and Everything as a Service.
* Innate curiosity and eagerness to learn; Ease in embracing complexity and a natural team player
