The Talent Researcher will work closely  with Recruiters to produce comprehensive talent market data to inform sourcing tactics  and strategies. ​Your role will be finding and attracting the ‘best of the best’ talent in the  industry utilizing a variety of sourcing methods. Most important to your success will be  strong sourcing techniques and interest in building a sales org. You will be challenged to  think outside of the box and create a comprehensive talent growth strategy. You will be  newest member of the team tasked with building Cisco’s fastest growing business unit  that will provide you the opportunity to develop your career as a robust talent acquisition  professional. This role is based in our San Francisco headquarters.    

What you will do:   

● Generate talent pipeline and engage key business partners to find top sales and  technical pre-sales talent for Cisco Meraki 

● Attend intake meetings with business partners and recruiter to discuss best practice  sourcing strategy, advise on talent supply, sourcing options and strategies based  on role criteria 

● Define and own the search strategy for attracting top candidates, across  competitive research, profile development, networking and direct sourcing 

● Conducts market analysis and research to inform and develop sourcing strategy  and job seeker behavior 

● Builds talent mapping for specific companies with names, titles and reporting  relationships; and intelligence on recent restructurings, hires and departures 

● Use market expertise, data, and business acumen to educate and influence hiring  managers on how to identify and hire the best talent 

● Collaborate with recruiters and hiring managers to strategize and implement  innovative pipeline generation efforts 

● Promote our employer brand online and offline     

Qualifications: 

● 4 - 6 years of experience of proven work experience as a Talent Sourcer,  Recruiter, or similar role 

● Proficiency and passion for in-depth research and project work that is systematic  and detailed to produce comprehensive data and presentable information 

● Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and time management 

● Able to flex and problem solve to manage competing demands in a fast paced,  metric driven environment 

● Results oriented self-starter with track record of personal accountability, strong  work ethic and integrity
