What You'll Do

You'll help to drive key strategic initiatives to enable businss outcomes for the Tax and Customs organization.   You will manage a portfolio of programs that will ensure effective and on-time delivery while managing the risks across the initiatives.  As the program manager, you will  ensure effective communication between stakeholders and cross functional teams.  You will participate in helping to manage the program costs, manage the relationship with IT, and the core business SME's.  The team will identify the business impacts, determine the business requirements, and  manage the testing execution and successfull implementation of the desired businss outcomes.

This is an exciting role that will help drive overall business success and the next generation of business capabilities.

Who You'll Work With

Our team is part of the finance organization and we work with all other Cisco organizations on strategic programs.  This role will represent the Tax and Customs team on programs and will have the opportunity to partner with the key business and IT leaders within our team.  This role will work with the core business and IT teams and will interact with all levels of management. 

Who You Are

Do you have experience managing cross functional programs that include business applications implementations?  If you have thorough knowledge in Customs, Tax, and Finance you can help lead key programs that delivery value for the business. 

Our minimum requirements for this role: 

• Knowledge of customs which includes valuation, country of origin, and classification

• Knowledge of indirect tax, VAT, compliance reporting

• Experience with Oracle ERP or related ERP applications

• Experience and knowledge in working on customs / indirect tax related programs involving business applications

•  Program management experience managing cross functonal programs

• PMP certification and Agile Methodology experience 

• Analytical and problem-solving skills

• Strong communication skills - including written and oral communication as well as presentation skills
