What You'll Do

You will support the International Tax Compliance Team (ITC)  strategy by optimizing processes and maintaining Cisco’s high level of tax compliance. You will monitor, maintain and improve the end to end compliance processes, which involves:

Reviewing corporate tax returns and tax calculations; support tax audits and successfully implement the advisory aspects into the compliance process in partnership with other teams; manage BEPS requirements, dividend distributions and other tax projects, review the true up calculations and Q19 (deffered tax computations) of tier 1 entities.  Support M&A integration and in general be a catalyst for change by identifying and driving processes, partnerships and operational opportunities within an international or global framework.

Who You'll Work With
The International Tax Compliance Team (ITC) is made up of smart and friendly non tech Cisconian’s, responsible for managing Cisco's non-US direct and indirect tax compliance reporting, tax process optimization, tax audits, financial statements and tax returns review and other related activities. This team is also responsible for identifying and implementing other operational effectiveness processes and solutions.

You can effectively manage the – tax compliance process, continue to develop a world-class international compliance support model, and work effectively with internal tax/finance/accounting colleagues on end-to-end processes.

 Our minimum requirements for this role:

● Degree in tax or accounting related fields                                    

● Minimum 12 years in taxation and/or Tax Accounting related role

● Strong English communication skills

● Project management, organizational and execution skills

●  Enjoy working in a fast pace and people friendly environment

This position requires an individual with strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to quickly integrate into a new process or utilize new IT tools. He/She also requires good project, organizational and execution skills as well as a flexible attitude as the team further expands and takes on additional roles and responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have strong cross-functional and business partnership skills and show initiative and should be comfortable in a constantly changing and challenging environment. The applicant needs to be fluent in English both written and spoken and be able to use the various Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Powerpoint and Outlook), CTA or CPA equivalent will be a plus.

The role will report to the Tax Compliance Manager, based in Australia.

The ideal position will be located in Singapore but we are open for other countries in APJC
