The anesthesia nurse shall possess knowledge of nursing skills with an expertise in the area of Operating Room Nursing.  Has the ability to make and execute nursing judgment related to the preoperative role, thus providing a safe environment and continuity of patient care.

Job Requirements

::

• Current RN or LPN Licensure in State of Oklahoma required.

• ACLS required if an RN within 6 months of employment. 

• BLS is required prior to beginning orientation or working on a floor.

• Healthcare Provider Law reviewed and signed within first 14 days of employment required. Annual review through HS Learning required thereafter.

• Previous OR experience preferred.

• Must successfully complete pre-employment assessment.

• Basic computer skills required.
