Position Summary:

The Tech MH/BH attends to the patient's direct care needs and performs tasks as delegated by the PHP Program Supervisor. Supports an organizational culture for Service Excellence and practices the Service Excellence Standards to all customer groups. Provides transportation for Partial Hospital patients and attends to partial hospital pt. needs.

Education: Minimum of HS diploma and 2yrs. Experience facilitating groups with variety of developmental ages (Child, adolescent, adult and geriatric).

Experience: Demonstrated experience facilitating activities of a therapeutic nature with a variety of developmental ages (Child, adolescent, adult and geriatric) Two years experience in Activity Therapy field working with a mental health population, preferred. Prefer knowledge of group leadership skills, age specific growth and development, crisis and behavior management.

Licensure/Certification: Prefer current, certification or licensure in accordance with state and /or national board standards of specific field of allied health (i.e., recreational) but not necessary.
