Tech Supervisor, GCP Quality Analyst

Job Details

Provides expertise in the reporting, visualization, analysis, interpretation & presentation of information to enable customers and leaders to understand status of Pfizer's GCP quality performance, set appropriate performance measures and targets, report progress towards those targets, and evaluate opportunities for improvements.

Provides basic or advanced analytics and modeling expertise to enable understanding of Pfizer's GCP quality performance

Reports accurate, reliable, timely, accessible & actionable information to help customers and leaders proactively identify and address opportunities to improve GCP processes

Functions as a technical resource for customers, utilizing data / text mining methodology and tools to support the assessment and analysis of Pfizer's GCP quality performance

Tracks and reports compliance with CAPA commitments or established SOPs/processes

Provides operational support during the Quality Event management cycle **General**

The major duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

+ Actively works with customers and stakeholders to understand and address their business needs

+ Collects / extracts meaningful information residing in various databases or other data sources by employing data / text mining tools and software required

+ Performs basic to advanced analysis using various analytics tools, e.g. Excel, Minitab, SAS, R, Python

+ Applies basic to advanced statistical approaches in analyzing and converting extensive and complex data into clean and crisp messages for customers and stakeholders

+ Develops / designs standard or ad-hoc reports, dashboards or scorecards to ensure timely and accurate delivery of information to the broader organization

+ Supports Quality & Compliance Assessment

+ Accessing clinical trial related documentations in key systems

+ Reviewing documents for content quality / compliance and comparing documents for consistent approach

+ Following-up with responsible individuals to correct issues identified

+ Tracking and summarizing data on findings and generating reports as needed

**Project Management**

As Point of Contact within Quality Performance Management for customers in certain project/work area(s), leads local project / work team(s) of several colleagues and takes responsibility for the local team's milestones / deliverables


Bachelor's degree or equivalent in biological sciences, health sciences, statistics, mathematics, informatics, computer science, engineering, business, etc. Advanced degree is desirable


+ 2+ years of related technical/business experience is preferred

+ A solid understanding of the Microsoft Office suite, with advanced knowledge of Excel, is required

+ Experience with using data processing & analysis techniques/tools (SQL, VBA , Spotfire, Tableau, etc. ) are preferred

+ Strong knowledge in statistical analysis and skills in SAS, R, Minitab, etc. are preferred

+ Experience in project management / business analysis is desirable

+ Experience in a customer service role with demonstration of meeting customer needs and concerns is preferred


+ Able to work per established procedures and standards

+ Has an excellent attention to detail and a quality control approach to work

+ Able to apply basic to advanced technical & analytical skills and functional knowledge to achieve assigned work on projects/assignments

+ Able to explore and apply new ideas and knowledge with increasing frequency

+ Able to manage own time to meet agreed targets

+ Develops plans for short-term work activities (timelines, work plans, deliverables) within project/work team

+ Able to work in ambiguous situations as part of a project/work team

+ Able to exercise judgement to resolve problems in complex situations

+ Demonstrates effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written, combined with excellent listening skills

+ Able to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders in a multi-cultural context and a matrix organization

+ Able to present clearly using various communication tools and techniques

+ Able to lead local team for large global projects/work and take responsibility for a portion of the global project/work team's milestones / deliverables
