Description: The InfoSec Decision Automation (IDA) team delivers advanced, data-driven services to enable scalable, risk-based vulnerability management for Walmart. The team partners across penetration testing, vulnerability management, and risk assessment areas to introduce new and emerging technologies. IDA manages systems with a global scope across our stores and eCommerce businesses. This role requires a high degree of developing solutions and solving problems in dynamic environments. Candidate should have a strong background in security with a collaborative approach to working with others. This role is a full-stack development technical leadership role with exposure to API development and use, UI development, SQL, and HDFS technologies. Role Description : • Provides technical direction and expertise to the development scrum team • Maintains security expertise by reviewing new technologies, including piloting them for deployment • Drives the execution of scrum deliverables by removing technical road blocks • Trains and mentors team members on new technologies • Plans technical deployment of new technology stacks, including impact to current operations • Delivers data integration by implementing shared data sources, developing and modifying code to export, transform, and load data • Identifies technical or training gaps for strategic planning • Studies data sources by interviewing users; defining, analyzing, and validating data objects; identifying the relationship among data objects. • Translates requirements into technical solutions and then delivers them in an Agile manner. • Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
