We are looking for a motivated Hardware Engineer to contribute to the development of our next generation products. 

Primary areas of responsibilities:
• Lead hardware sustaining/proto services engineer   
Work closely with hardware development team, program manager and manufacturing from prototype development to post production sustenance work including the following:
- Manage proto services team to track proto distribution, revision control, and issue resolving,
- Lead hardware diagnosis and root-cause analysis for electrical circuit, board signal integrity, power circuit, programmable and/or mechanical issues,
- Lab/warehouse parts and spare units inventory control/tracking, 
- Support of system upgrade and system configuration and complex test set up including traffic generation, 
- Conduct FAI (first article inspection) report and drive corrective action with manufacturing or engineering, 
- Provide on-going hardware support for cross functional team (engineering, manufacturing, product management). 
• Engineering Failure Analysis (EFA) and customer escalation 
Coordinate with customer technical support (TAC), business escalation team and corp. quality engineer on RMA/EFA requests. Drive development team (hardware, software and QA) and manufacturing to track and root cause issues. Define and categorize customer failures with proper closure code and recommended corrective actions with Manufacturing or design team.  
• Hardware Quality Read out 
Maintain and analyze hardware field quality dashboard based on field install bases, RMA/EFA returns, and FA reports. Identify and alarm of any trends and hot issue tracking. Provide monthly or quarterly read out to management and escalation/TAC community via engineering wiki portal and dashboard. Drive and hold meetings with Manufacturing to ensure execution of corrective actions and address any test enhancement opportunities.    
• Manufacturing team liaison
Work with manufacturing team for ongoing production issues, ECO implementation, quality tracking, LTB and supply chain escalation. Provide comprehensive view to management for any escalation support.

• Support for Electrical Design Validation Test (EDVT) 
Coordinate EDVT engineers to create EDVT test plan, test schedule, and perform EDVT for hardware development and on-going MCN qualifications. Understanding of diagnostics and test script development methodologies a plus in order to drive diagnostic team and MFG test engineer to improve EDVT, MFG test, RDT test environment and set up.

You will be part of a dedicated team; open communications, empowerment, innovation, teamwork and customer success are the foundations of the team. You will be primarily working with teams that does hardware and software development, QA testing, manufacturing NPI as well as our contract manufacturer.    

MSEE with 8+ years or BSEE with 10+ years of relevant experience.

Who You Are
Desired skills:
Experience with x86 and MIPS based board design.
Experience in designing PCIe, SAS, SATA, DDR3, DDR4, XAUI, and KR based high speed interface bus. 
Experience in Ethernet interface design, 1G/10G/40G/100G, optic or copper.
Hands on board design knowledge, familiar with design tools including Cadence Concept, and Allegro.
Hands on test equipment set up (Oscilloscope, Logic Analyzer and Ethernet traffic generators). 
Familiar with high speed design signal integrity issues, power distribution techniques and modern processors.
Experience with high-speed networking a must.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
