Who You Are

 

Are you a dynamic and innovative technical leader / technical marketing engineer who wants to make a difference by working  to help earn the trust and confidence of our critical customers? As part of the Trust Strategy Office Strategic Country Engagement Core team, you will lead the technical engagements as the point person for customers interested in testing and inspecting Cisco source code, hardware, firmware and other intellectual property pursuant to the Cisco Technology Verification Service. ()

 

Role & Responsibilities

 

In this highly visible technical leader role, you will drive delivery of trust initiatives around the world.

● Project Plan & TVS Execution: Develop and drive all aspects of a Technology Verification Service engagement, including planning and logistics of customer review and testing of source code. Guide customers through the technical review and testing of source code and other intellectual property, answering questions and engaging SMEs where necessary.

● Communications: Update stakeholders on TVS engagements and escalate as necessary to overcome obstacles.

● Customer Management: Interact directly with key customers to understand their concerns and goals, communicating clearly with them and the internal stakeholders to ensure that expectations are met.

● Develop an understanding of the global certification regimens, work cross functionally to develop business cases and maintain influencer relationships with key stakeholders.

 

Minimum Qualifications

 

● Demonstrated work experience/capabilities as a technical leader / technical marketing engineer for a wide range of solutions or products

● Ability to produce quality work by deadline – while under pressure - and to adjust to rapidly changing priorities

● Deep familiarity with source code, encryption and/or fundamental security features built into the foundation of Cisco solutions

● Exemplary written and verbal communication skills, and ability to clearly communicate complex concepts to experts and laypersons alike. Including an ability to engage professionally and effectively with critical customers

● International experience preferred

● Ability to effectively influence key stakeholders who may not share the same priorities

● 5+ years of technical lead / technical marketing engineer experience

 

 

Desired Skills

 

● Cross-functional collaboration and exercising influence without direct authority

● Ability to juggle and deliver on multiple priorities

● Strong listening skill and willingness to prioritize teamwork and collaboration

● Ability to manage own time and deliverables, but also open to incorporating constructive feedback

● Deep knowledge of cryptography, entropy, white or black box security testing, and/or secure coding
