The Shared Services group within Broadcast System
Engineering is looking for a technical manager to execute multiple simultaneous
deliverables. This role requires a special candidate who has a positive
attitude integrated with a spectrum of skills – from leading large team
meetings, to driving resolution of critical technical problems, to managing and
collaborating with a diverse group of stakeholders.

+ Identify and communicate process and technologyissues, plans and solutions from both a business and a technical perspective.Take lead in driving an effort to analyze a situation and present a proposedsolution

+ Manage team who supports the Entertainment DataServices development group

+ Establish and drive product goals, scope, andrequirements for metadata applications with internet and satellite deliverypaths.

+ Manage and collaborate with global teams acrossseveral time-zones

**Minimum Qualifications**

+ Engineering technical background with at least3-5 years of experience in IT Industry

+ 4+ years of technical management experience

+ Experienced in web service development projects

+ Extensive experience in full softwaredevelopment lifecycle duties including requirements gathering, design,estimation, prototyping, implementation, and quality assurance.

+ Extensive knowledge of Waterfall/Agiledevelopment methodologies

+ Strong analytical and problem solving skills

+ Demonstrated ability to communicate technicalcontent to general audiences

+ Ability to judge severity of problems and theneed to escalate to management

+ Ability to coordinate with different teams infast paced environment

**Preferred Qualifications**

+ Experience in Systems Analysis

+ Experience in project and resource planning

+ Experience with offshore team management

+ Scrum Master Certification

+ 5-7 years of experience in PM/BA role.

+ Web service experience

+ Agile and SDLC planning and execution experience

**Required Qualifications**

+ Technical expertise in the assigned domain area.This particular position is focused on the web services applications. Thecandidate needs to work closely with the technical leads and quickly pick upthe main functionalities of the web services applications. What functions theysupport and what the future roadmap is.

+ Level of effort tracking in a centralize tool

+ Resource management

+ Budget management

+ Plan and manage release schedule for allapplications.

+ Work with each lead to come up with schedulesbased on level of effort and resource availability.

+ Includessubmitting tickets in customized remedy tool and JIRA keeping the informationup to date.

+ Work in conjunction with other team members toalign release schedules if necessary.

+ Requiresan understanding of application interfaces and dependencies.

+ Manage and coordinate resource allocations formultiple projectsAssist with resource and financial forecastingwithin the organization

+ Includesworking with the leads to come up with LOEs and input them in our trackingsystem

+ Collaborate with PMO project managers onschedule, based on priorities

+ Attend project meetings to provide status on ourdeliverables

+ Manage relationships with customers, vendors,and other third parties as necessary

+ Manage/oversee requirements gathering specificto each subsystem

+ Release the product to production and customers

+ Weekly executive reporting of status
