Technical Project Manager, Customer Success Scale Touch


Position Description

Cisco’s Cloud Collaboration Technology Group is looking for an enthusiastic Technical Project Manager. This role is responsible for planning, executing and finalizing development of marketing automation capabilities for scale-touch customer communications. The Technical Project Manager sets milestones for each project, coordinates efforts between operations and technology teams, in order to effectively and efficiently deliver projects according to plan. This position works with internal and external stakeholders to bring structure while implementing complex, project-based processes to bring increased efficiency in the delivery of all projects and services. The ideal candidate will work with respective owners to first identify and scope infrastructure requirements, then project manage the solution from design to delivery. Seeking a candidate that rises to challenges, rapidly analyzes and solves complex project-management problems, and thrives in quickly changing environments.


Key Responsibilities

·       Create and manage the plan for moving technical solutions to execution/implementation

·       Assemble and coordinate the internal and external teams to gain consensus on deliverables from each team

·       Drive cross-functional teams made up of people from Customer Support, Product Engineering, internal/external software development, Product Management, Marketing & Sales

·       Develop a deep understanding of stakeholder needs, translating business needs into prioritized requirements and projects

·       Support change management activities as related to the project and internal infrastructure

·       Collaboratively develop new project plans, processes & communication standards for the teams

·       Manage the formulation and ongoing tracking of each project

·       Assist with the development of reports, and the loading and configuration of demonstration data and systems

·       Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises and devise contingency plans

·       Own the communication and execution of solution hand-over to team members

·       Develop and deliver progress reports, requirements documentation and presentations

·       Test code, review, and recommend changes to technology stakeholders



·       Strong project management, facilitation and communication skills; ability to independently network, engage, and influence outcomes with stakeholders from engineers to SVP level

·       Strong ability to understand, connect, and communicate technical and business needs

·       Experienced in both agile and waterfall methodologies

·       Experience integrating marketing automation (preferably Oracle Eloqua), CRM and other web-based applications in both SaaS and On-prem environments

·       Prior experience working within Support, Sales, BizDev, DevOps and/or a PMO

·       Ambitious, self-motivated team player who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

·       4-year degree required and 5 years strong project management experience
