What You'll Do

As a TSA at Cisco, you are responsible for understanding our customers' business objectives and mapping Cisco's technology capabilities to them in a way that achieves architectural use while driving business impact.

  • You will be focusing on providing high-level technical support and technology direction guidance to AM, customers, and partners.
  • You will be looking for ways to build your influence inside and outside of Cisco; scalability of information sharing is a key criteria for an TSA role.
  • You will be building and presenting Cisco product, technology and solutions information to a range of internal and external audiences, you should also be known outside of your account team for expertise either in a technology/range of technologies or for customer relationship skills, understanding customer needs, and applying relevant Cisco solutions and resources to meet these needs.
  • You will share your knowledge within the account team and may provide informal training to customers and partners to develop further Cisco skills.
  • You will lead RFPs/RFIs and provide technical consulting skills to customers and partners.

Who You Are

You are passionate about the customer experience and passionate about new technology. You are a true teammate and love to learn. You will possess both technical and customer-facing skills that will deliver extraordinary architectural solutions to the world’s biggest companies. You know how to facilitate relationships with senior personnel, as well as the technical background that enables you to easily interact and give guidance to software developers, IT pros, and system architects. You have confirmed ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges. You are experienced in the following

  • Campus and Core Switching Platforms, Branch and Core Routing Platforms, Network Security, Wireless Infrastructure
  • Network/fabric design, protocols and products: Ethernet, IP, switching, routing, spanning tree
  • Network Services: Firewalls/IPS, load balancers, WAN optimization.
  • Virtualization, Automation and Operation software and solutions.
  • Network Management Applications - Prime, APIC-EM, Lancope, Cisco ISE
  • Familiarity of architecture standards such as TOGAF
  • Understanding of Interconnections with Cisco Datacenter Architecture
  • You develop market strategies that result in revenues and organizational success and participate in sales forecasting and planning from a technical configuration perspective
  • You will have validated and effective leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with others through conflicting pressures and priorities while resolving complex issues

Our minimum requirements for this role:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication, listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • 7+ years related experience
  • Pre- and Post-Sales experience
  • Cisco product and end-to-end positioning required
  • Typically requires BS/BA (EE/CS) or equivalent
  • CCIE certification highly desirable
