The primary function of the Technical Sterility Services Sanitation Trainer is train new and existing employees in Technical Sterility Services Sanitation department. The candidate will be responsible to ensure all new hires for Aseptic Sanitation are trained consistently for basic understanding related to cleaning procedures and practices. The candidate will also be responsible for performing necessary re-trainings or certifications for all existing Aseptic Sanitation colleagues. Candidate will be responsible for performing, reviewing, observing, and critiquing basic cleaning practices in R1 and R2 aseptic core and support areas.

Candidate will be required to complete Aseptic Certification and Certified Fellow Employee (CFE) training at Rocky Mount.

This individual develops, schedules, and administers employee training programs covering those procedures and functions necessary to support the operations.


+ Train new and existing employees on basic cleaning techniques in R1 and R2 aseptic core and support areas

+ Perform cleaning as needed in R1 and R2 aseptic core and support rooms

+ Complete daily checklists for aseptic manufacturing areas.

+ Write GMP work orders for aseptic manufacturing areas based on daily checklist.

+ Review cleaning documents for accuracy and compliance.

+ Develop/improvement necessary training materials

+ Update procedures to correctly reflect practices

+ Identifies, develops, and conducts the training required for the certification of new and existing personnel with respect to work methods, procedures, CGMPs, and task related activities.

+ Writes, updates, and work processes via computer


+ Requires 5+ years in manufacturing experience, preferably in aseptic processing

+ Requires an Associate Degree or higher, preferably in a technical field

+ Requires thorough knowledge of GMP's and ability to handle multiple projects.

+ Strong oral and written communication skills

+ Ability to interface with all levels of management is required


Must be able to function under a stressful situation while being able to remain focused at the necessary requirements. In addition, must be able to appropriately identify and escalate issues on a timely basis. Must be able to effectively communicate with others while enforcing proper aseptic technique and cleaning practices. Must be able to work in cleanrooms using and enforcing aseptic technique while donned in aseptic uniform attire (hood, boots, goggles, mask, coverall, gloves). Must be able to endure physical labor, stand for long periods of time, and withstand exposure to cleaning chemicals (alcohol, LpH, Sporklenz, etc). Must be able to wear all personal protective equipment (PPE) including respirator, as required.


Must be able to work on weekend, off shifts, and holiday as business demands.
