As a Technical Support Analyst, you would work as a part of a dynamic team involved with providing technical support and issue resolution to internal and external customers which may include users of all types and skill levels. Responsibilities may also include security access processing, ID tracking, maintenance of reporting logs, password reset assistance, PC hardware / software inventory checks and stocking of spare parts as well as more advanced troubleshooting and support.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Provide local and remote technical support for United Health Groups shared desktop applications
  • Enjoys challenging troubleshooting situations and pays attention to details
  • Must be a self-starter and able to work independently while being part of a decentralized team
Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
  • 1+ years of experience with PC operating systems including Windows 7, 8 & 10
  • 1+ years of desktop support experience
  • 1+ years of Technology Support experience
  • Experience with Networking Principles, Internet Protocol Suite (TCP / IP), Local Area Networks (LAN) and Wide Area Networks (WAN)
  • Experience with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint with the ability to install and trouble shoot configuration issues and basic navigiation
  • Experience with service ticketing / tracking systems
  • Experience with Remote Control / Remote Assistance tools
  • Ability to work 9:00 am - 5:00 pm EST Monday through Friday
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Undergraduate Degree (or higher) or 2+ years of support experience
  • Microsoft certifications
  • Information Technology Certifications (such as CompTIA A+ or Network+)
  • Call Center or customer service role
  • Mobile device support (Android and iOS)
  • MAC support (iPad, iPhone) experience
  • Wireless networking
Soft Skills:
  • Enjoys challenging troubleshooting situations and pays attention to details
  • Must be a self-starter and able to work independently while being part of a decentralized team
  • Written / verbal communication skills

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
