Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide production support for critical business applications built on Service Oriented Architecture running on WESB, IIB and Mule/Talend
  • Work with on/offshore production support team handling incident and problem tickets
  • Provide on-call support (24x7) during critical issue resolution
  • Ensure overall organizational support goals are met (i.e. SLA, incident/problem reduction, application availability)
  • Co-ordinate root cause analysis efforts for permanent resolution on all incidents
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex production issues
  • Manage infrastructure upgrade projects
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams on issue resolution
  • Work with the Development team to understand the new functionality being deployed and ensure all support readiness requirements are met
  • Mentor junior team members providing training and technical direction as needed
  • Ability to adjust both written and oral communications to a variety of different audiences
  • Ability to work independently to complete assigned tasks

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience with Production Support
  • 3+ years of hands on experience with Java / J2EE / JSP / JSF development
  • 3+ years of experience with any RDBMS (SQL Server or Oracle or MySQL or DB2)
  • 3+ years of experience with  XML, SOAP and WSDL
  • 1+ years of experience with integrated platform as a service (iPaaS) technology 3+ years of experience with UNIX and Shell Scripting
  • 1+ years of experience with developing APIs or Web Services
  • 1+ years of experience with any monitoring tools like DynaTrace, DC RUM, New Relic, Splunk, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or science
  • Knowledge of Object Oriented Programming (OOPS) concepts
  • Knowledge of SVN or any other source code control systems
  • Experience with WebSphere and Ruby framework
  • Good oral and written communication skills in the English language
  • Knowledge of OSE Framework
  • Knowledge of Mule / IIB ESB
  • Experience in Agile Development
