This position will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting expertise to a healthcare claims platform, customers and systems administrators. The candidate will be handling incoming Tier II Issues, researching technical issues, running and writing MySQL queries to get system status and updates in response to client relations issues that arise, as well as other duties as required.  The candidate should be comfortable working from the Linux command line for many of these duties.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Reviewing logs to address troubleshooting issues
  • Server tuning
  • Database analysis
  • System configuration
  • Collaborating with development and database teams on escalated issues while maintaining regular updates
  • Basic, structured, standard approach to work
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or HS diploma/GED with 2+ equivalent experiences
  • 2+ years of Enterprise LINUX experience
  • 2+ years of Scripting experience in BASH, PHP or Perl
  • 2+ years of APACHE Web Server administration experience
  • 2+ years of MySQL programming or administration experience
  • Must be flexible Monday thru Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • 24/7 pager duty on a rotating schedule
Preferred Qualifications:
  • An undergraduate degree
  • Enterprise environment experience (corporate level technical ITSM standards)
  • Experience with RHEL7.x and above
  • 5+ years of MySQL experience
  • 2+ years NOSQL
  • 2+ years Mongo DB
  • 2+ years XML experience
  • 2+ years MULE experience
  • Working and practical knowledge of:
    • HIPAA
    • X12
    • EDI transactions
    • OpenShift Enterprise
    • Containers
    • Dockers
    • New Relic logs
    • BASH/PEARL/similar scripting
    • Networking and Firewall troubleshooting
  • Customer service experience
