Situated in Co. Kildare, Pfizer Newbridge is an integral part of the global solid oral dose network; manufacturing tablets and capsules for world markets using highly complex processes.



We have a Technology and Innovation Centre using a range of technologies such as Process Analytical Technologies and Advanced Process Control to transfer, develop and manufacture products.



We continuously improve and enhance our facility through the execution of complex engineering projects introducing next generation manufacturing processes providing full life cycle management.

The Production Operator is an integral part of this and will work as an essential part of the cross functional team to maximize efficiency and support delivery of Key Performance Indictors. In addition they play an active role in the achievement of daily Performance targets to a required safety and quality standard.







The Production Operator works as part of a shift team in the Newbridge facility and reports to the Shift Supervisor.



Executing process manufacturing instructions including set up change over and operations of equipment.



Complete adherence to all plant safety and c GMP regulations to the highest standards with adherence to right first time principles.



Input to drive process improvement initiatives.



Operation of automated and semi-automated equipment.



Assist with diagnosis and troubleshooting activities.



Documenting and maintaining batch documentation associated with the manufacture of process steps.



Monitoring equipment and environment in compliance with cGMP procedures and in compliance with EHS policies and procedures.



Complete Housekeeping activities to highest standards.



Use of computer systems as appropriate.



Previous experience in cGMP environment desirable but not a necessity.



Excellent communication skills - written and verbal



Team work focused



An active learner



A third level qualification is desirable but not a necessity







An assessment centre process will be used in the recruitment and selection of colleagues,



Shortlisted candidates must be available to attend an Assessment Centre.
