Job Details

1. Tendering Excellence



Driving tender strategy and maximizing the tender business potential



o Take a leadership role to drive the tender business to optimize the revenue and profitability



o Develop medium to long term goals to maximize the business potential



o Build tender capability, process and model that fits to Pfizer Thailand



o Portfolio optimization through identifying new tender opportunities



o Provide training to relevant colleagues to build the tender capability (including GTCS)



o Seek appropriate support from Regional Tender Lead in terms of cost optimization, pricing flexibility, supply availability and patent-related strategy



Cross-functional team collaboration



o Build cross-functional team and align the roles and responsibilities for tender management



o Organize regular meetings to plan major tender bidding, track the status of current tenders and follow up other related tender affairs/initiatives



Market insight and knowledge management in tender



o Gain the market insights in tender landscape and anticipate the trends



o Manage GTCS as central repository of tender data for tracking of tender results, competitive intelligence and tender compliance by hospital



o Conduct analysis on win-rate, profitability and tender portfolio



Tender planning, submission & competitiveness



o Develop complete database of tender opportunities including bid details (scorecard, price)



o Utilize tender database to build tender forecasts and local tender calendar



o Proactive planning of major tenders and build the individual bidding strategy



Account Analysis & Key Stakeholder engagement



o Drive account analysis and segmentation to define 'must win' tenders



o Identify key institutional customers/stakeholder and build stakeholder mapping and engagement strategy



o Gain insights from institutional customers (for example, GPO, purchasers, pharmacy head etc.)



Tender Shaping and Product Training



o Integrate tender team into commercial function to provide training on tender specification reading and specification writing



o Provide regular customized product technical training to GSM, DSM, and TSRs on which technical specification to detail customer highlighting key winning factors of Pfizer product



o Host and engage with customers through meetings and symposium to detail Pfizer product technical specification and provide insight directly to customer on how to procure high quality medicine via tender specification writing



Tender Operation and Execution



o Supervise operation staffs on successful execution of tender activities



o Monitor tender posting from eGP and work in close collaboration with Zuellig to ensure participation of all Pfizer Tender



o Prepare tender documents, forms, letter for Tender technical review prior to submission



o Track and keep records of all participated tender for further analysis and local and global system inputs



o Plan key tender activities with Pfizer internal parties and Zuellig to ensure fastest submission time to increase win rate by being the first tender submitter







2. Drive Growth of Tender Business (White Space)



o Develop strategy to win in tenders previously not won



o Identify untapped tender opportunities by capturing full listing of all tenders in Thailand



o Portfolio optimization to grow underutilized brands and SKUs







3. Enlisting Excellence



Driving enlisting strategy and maximizing new business potential



o Take a leadership role to drive enlisting initiative to identify new business opportunity



o Build enlisting capability, process and model that fits to Pfizer Thailand



o Portfolio optimization through identifying new enlisting opportunities in both new and existing hospitals/SKUs



Cross-functional team collaboration



o Build cross-functional team and align the roles and responsibilities for enlisting activities



o Organize regular meetings to plan upcoming enlisting opportunity, track the status of current enlisting submission and follow up other related enlisting affairs/initiatives



Enlisting Planning - Short and Long Term Plan



o Develop short to long term enlisting strategy to create new business opportunity



o Create yearly enlisting plan with prioritization of products and hospitals base on revenue sizes and current strategic initiatives



o Present enlisting plan to leadership and commercial managers to align business growth opportunities



Enlisting Operation and Execution



o Supervise enlisting staffs in the preparation and submission of all enlisting activities on time with complete documentation



o Prepare and review enlisting forms, documents for hospital submission



o Track and keep records of all participated enlisting for further analysis







4. New Tender Business Initiatives



o Innovate tender and enlisting business processes to increase efficiency and adapt to market needs



o Introduce and manage system for handling tender and enlisting documents and dossiers



o Identify and create new business models to secure and win tender



o Manage new business unit and entity resulting from M&A or organization restructure



o Co manage all tender activities for PIH
