The Territory Operations Manager (TOM) schedules, manages and delivers operational training in pre-defined areas for salaried and hourly retail associates. The goal of the Territory Operations Managers is to increase operational performance in under performing stores. The TOM will accomplish this by teaching and training in the aisles with associates or in a training room environment using a variety of tools provided to them including web based training, training on a mobile device, as well as webinars. The stores in which a TOM visit is required will be managed centrally at the Store Support Center. Each visit to outlier stores will occur over a 3-4 day period in which the TOM will facilitate detailed training designed to increase store performance. The Territory Operations Manager may be required to visit other stores in the region to engage with associates and identify best practices. Additionally, the TOM will occasionally be required to drive sales in stores by providing excellent customer service. TOMs will be assigned to a regional geography and will not be assigned to a particular store on a regularly basis.
