Prudential is seeking a Quality Engineering- Automation that is a part tester - executing functional and non-functional tests and doing root cause analysis and a part developer - developing test automation. Extensive hands-on writing test plans, test cases, manual testing and test automation. As a Quality Engineer, you will design and implement test solutions with highest quality using agile tools and methodologies. Experience in mobile testing is not needed but preferred. We are looking for someone who loves a good challenge and can work collaboratively.

Collaborate with product management, marketing, designers, and technology and architecture teams

  • Write test plans and test cases
  • Create and maintain test automation solutions
  • Execute manual test cases and run test automation
  • Improve, optimize and identify opportunities for improved software development
  • Work with Product Owners to continuously evaluate product capabilities and provide guidance to product roadmap and strategy
  • Work in a rapid pace environment with ability to juggle multiple projects
  • Enjoy learning about our customers and our businesses
  • Proven ability to work in an iterative/Agile environment
  • BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 5 years experience with web application testing

  • 3 years of Manual Testing experience

  • 2 years of API testing.

  • 3 years experience with automation testing, developing and executing automated test scripts.

  • 3 years experience with Java programming

  • 2 years experience working with Selenium/Webdriver test automation framework and/or Galen

  • 2 years experience working with Salesforce testing and automation

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills


      • Experience with Salesforce Automation Testing
        Experience with Rest API automation.

      • Experience with Galen is preferred.

      • Experience with SOAP UI Tool.

      • Experience with Groovy Scripting.
        Experience with developing and executing fast test scripts that are easily reusable and maintainable.

      • Prior working experience with Jenkins, Load/Performance Tools, and API testing tools a plus.

      • Motivated and driven to continuously improve and learn by trying new test automation tools, processes, or methodologies.

      • Robust familiarity with Open Source tools
