Valle Vista Health System is a free-standing, full-service provider of behavioral health and addiction treatment services. We offer treatment for psychiatric disorders as well as drug and alcohol rehabilitation and detoxification services. We have offered treatment for children, adolescents and adults since 1983. Valle Vista offers a full continuum of care including day or evening outpatient services, intensive outpatient services, partial hospitalization, residential treatment and acute inpatient services.


The Inpatient Therapist is responsible for providing acute focused individual, family, and group therapy for assigned patients, according to their individual needs.  The Inpatient Therapist completes individual psychosocial assessments and assigns treatment objectives and goals accordingly.  The Inpatient Therapist provides family therapy to all child and adolescent assigned patients, and family or couples therapy to adult patients as needed.


Education: Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university, in Social Work or a clinical related mental health field.

Experience: Previous experience in a psychiatric health care facility, with direct experience in family, individual and group therapies, case management, crisis intervention, and treatment skills, preferred. Must have strong clinical assessment skills.

License: State licensed in social work or clinical related mental health field (LCSW), preferred.
Additional Requirements: CPR certification and Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) within 90 days of employment and prior to assisting in a restraining procedure. May be required to work flexible hours and weekends.
