Hampton Behavioral Health Center is seeking a dynamic and talented Therapist to assist us in our Evening Adult Intensive Outpatient Programming.  Hampton Behavioral Health Center is a private behavioral healthcare center and offers the most advanced behavioral health, diagnostic treatment services for adults, adolescents and older adults in both inpatient and outpatient programs. In Hampton Counseling Center’s Outpatient facility our dedicated, professionally licensed therapists facilitate group therapy focusing on a variety of mental health topics including recovery, relapse prevention and coping skills.  Our goal is to reduce the negative symptoms of mental illness and help stabilize individuals in order to live safe and productive lives. 

We are looking for an enthusiastic per diem Therapist to engage our patients focusing on Mental Health Issues working primarily with the Adults and Dual Diagnosis populations in our evening IOP program.  This is a Monday, Wednesday and Thursday position working from 5:00pm until 9:00pm in the Counseling Center where you will assume responsibility for all aspects of clinical assessment, treatment of patients utilizing techniques within a group modality,  participation as a member of a mulitdisciplinary treatment team and discharge planning. Understanding and integrating developmental stages, diagnostic criteria, group treatment and clinical best practices are necessary in this role. 

Position Requirements:

  • Current New Jersey License, LSW, LAC, LPC, LCSW
  • Masters’ Degree
  • Minimum of 1-2 years clinical expertise in individual, group, family and marital therapy. 
  • Strong group skills and experience working with Adults
