Meridell is currently seeking a PRN Therapist to provide coverage during a primary Therapist's absence.

Education:Must have Master's degree from an accredited college or university in a mental  health field.
Experience: Post graduate work experience in mental health or related field preferred. Direct practice experience and/or clinical (graduate, continuing ed., etc.) training specific to individual, family and group therapy Two years of management or supervisory experience preferred.
License/Certification:    Must have a current certification or licensure by the State of Texas (LCSW, LPC, LMFT)
Skills: Must have good verbal and written communication skills in order to communicate in a clear and concise manner with children and adolescents, families, all members of the interdisciplinary team and with managed care representatives.
Must have good clinical skills to assess dynamics accurately and develop effective treatment strategies within the context of the overall treatment plan.
Must have good analytical ability to evaluate information reported by all members of the treatment team and revise treatment strategies accordingly.
Must have leadership abilities to support the clinicians, nurses and care workers working with the population.
Must be flexible regarding program needs.
Essential Physical Requirements: Must be able to perform medium physically demanding work requiring walking, sitting or standing.
