**ROLE SUMMARY**



TL Warehouse Operations - This position primarily works 1st shift, but includes responsibilities on all 3 shifts. GMP warehouse operations are a critical enabling function at the Pfizer Kalamazoo site. The TL Warehouse Operations has responsibility for the 24 x 7 warehouse operation. This includes all aspects of production support, receiving, shipping and storage of materials across the site. This includes support of DP and API operations.







**ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES**



The Team Leader will provide operational and administrative leadership for their team. Specific responsibilities will include the following:







+ Ensure team and individual objectives are established.



+ Complete all requirements of the GPM process for their direct reports.



+ Ensure training is complete for themselves and their direct reports.



+ Recognize colleagues for superior performance.



+ Administer discipline model as required.



+ Develop colleagues within their teams.



+ Ensure all safety procedures are understood and followed by their team.



+ Monitor staffing levels across shifts and areas to ensure workloads are appropriately balanced.



+ Conduct routine team meetings and share information with their teams in a timely and effective manner.



+ Identify process improvements and cost improvements in their area of responsibility.



+ Participate on and lead projects as required.



+ Participate on teams representing their area of responsibility



+ Participate in internal and external audits and identify and implement corrective actions as required.



+ Assist in establishing annual expense budgets and ensure budgets are met.



+ Work with customers to establish service levels and ensure levels are met.



+ Establish, maintain, and analyze key metrics.



+ Ensure facilities are maintained and cleaned appropriately to meet required standards.



+ Review procedures and ensure they reflect current practice and current requirements.











**QUALIFICATIONS**







+ > 8 years experience without degree



+ 5-8 years experience with BA/BS



+ 3-6 years experience with MBA/MS



+ 0-3 years experience with PHD or JD



+ Relevant work experience includes Supply Chain, Logistics, and/or Warehouse operations



+ Microsoft Office knowledge especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint



+ Experience participating in audits and interacting with regulatory agencies desired



+ SAP experience desired.



+ Language Skills: Effective written and oral communication skills











**PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS**







+ Ability to perform office work (desk, computer, phone)



+ Significant walking across the site.











**NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS**







+ Limited travel (primarily domestic) may be required for training, conferences or business/project meetings. (0-4 trips per year)



+ Colleague must work near moving mechanical parts. Use of eye protection, safety shoes, and high visibility clothing are required.
