As a Third Party Administrator (TPA) Strategic Account Executive, you’ll create the strategic retention and growth plan for customers with the goal of serving and renewing accounts. You’ll merge your business savvy and relationship skills to become an extension of the customer's business. It’s as simple as that. If you’re out to do more, this may be the opportunity for you.
 
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Manage an assigned book of business with accountability for customer loyalty and satisfaction
  • Create strategic retention and growth plan for each assigned customer
  • Establish, cultivate and manage the customer relationship at multiple levels
  • Serve as a health care consultant and trusted business advisor
  • Operate a complex, matrixed business that requires you to work through ambiguity even as you build relationship with some of our most focused and intense business leaders
  • Conceptualize effectively, communicate clearly and earn credibility within a demanding business environment
  • Build relationships with all different facets in the organization and be the face of the organization externally
 
You should know people in this role say the most challenging aspect of the role is understanding the ASO funding arrangements and Stop Loss, which are both needed to handle TPA business renewals.
Required Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of strategic and consultative selling experience within key accounts in the insurance industry
  • Proven track record of 3+ years of working with senior-level executives and progressively increasing responsibility for client relationship management and consultation
  • Proficient at messaging, positioning and presentation of information for customer impact and influence
Preferred Qualifications:
  • TPA experience strongly preferred
