What you'll do

Working with the global Tax and Customs team (GTC), the regional GTC teams, internal accounting teams and external advisors, you will be primarily responsible for implementing and managing the ongoing transfer pricing requirements for Cisco affiliates across the region.

Additionally, the role will provide support for tax reporting requirements.

Key responsibilities and attributes of the Transfer Pricing Tax Accountant will include:

-       Preparation of functional segmented financial statements and ongoing analysis of entity P&Ls

-       Management of transfer pricing compliance requirements, including annual documentation, for both US and local filing purposes.

-       Monitoring the systems aspect of transfer pricing

-       Maintenance of entity intercompany agreements

-       Support of transfer pricing assessments/audits

-       Implementation of the intercompany pricing model for newly established or acquired entities.

Who you'll work with

The Cisco Global Tax and Customs team (GTC) delivers operational support, systems, overall compliance, business partnerships, and tax planning to support sales, projects and operations. This team of high class professionals is geographically organized with teams covering the USA, Latin America & Canada, Asia Pacific, Japan & Greater China (APJC), Emerging Markets East and European markets theatres (regions).

As part of GTC’s International Tax & Global Planning, the Global Transfer Pricing team plans, executes and documents Cisco’s overall transfer pricing strategy and documentation approach across Cisco’s global operations. The team monitors Cisco’s global transfer pricing policy, including compliance with mandatory reporting and documentation rules, supports transfer pricing audits/controversy and risk mitigation through Advance Pricing Arrangements (“APA’s”) with various tax authorities.

Who you are

-       Degree in a Finance related discipline preferred with 5 years of related experience, a professional accounting qualification preferred along with high-technology company experience

-       Excellent written and verbal communication skills

-       Self driven, fast learner, must be able to work in an continuously changing and evolving environment where teamwork and commitment to execution are essential.
