Texoma Medical Center, a 351-bed healthcare system has been providing quality health care to the residents of North Texas and Southern Oklahoma since 1965. Our main campus is located in Denison, Texas, approximately one hour north of the Dallas/Fort Worth area and just south of the Texas/Oklahoma border. Position Summary: 

The Trauma Performance Analyst is a Registered Nurse who will work in collaboration with the Trauma Program Manager and the Trauma Medical Director to evaluate the quality of clinical care and processes for trauma patients. Performs focus reviews of all trauma cases that have identified quality issues. Provides leadership and consultative services for performance improvement activites, assist with compliance for all regulatory agencies. Educates staff and community. Also responsible for the integration of the hospital program with the local community, including prehospital providers and integration into the North Central Texas Trauma Regional Advisory Council, and the State of Texas. Supports an organizational culture for Service Excellence and practices the Service Excellence standards to all customer groups.

Must be a registered Nurse currently licensed in the State of Texas, BSN preferred.    Requires 2 years working as an RN in an Emergency Room/Trauma setting preferred. Managerial/charge nurse role responsible for working with and supervising others . Experience in or actively involved in system wide/multi-disciplinary committees/projects. 

Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Texas. Will have BLS, ACLS, TNCC and PALS and/or ENPC upon hire or within 6 months of hire. Completion of TOPIC (or equivalent course), NIMS 700, 100, 200 within 6 months of hire.  

Must possess the initiative to establish course of action for self and others to accomplish goals in concert with organization and program objectives. Analytical skills necessary in order to gather and analyze data, prepare reports, and recommend appropriate action plans and evaluate results. Must exhibit proficiency in data management and have intermediate level skills in word processing, spreadsheets and other computer programs desirable. Effective written and verbal communications skills.
