The Trauma Program Manager is responsible for the ongoing, effective operation of trauma services and for the ongoing assessment and improvement of trauma services activities, including program development. Such responsibilities encompass not only the internal functioning of the trauma service, but also the integration of trauma services into the overall functioning of Northwest Texas Healthcare System and the community.  Supports an organizational culture for Service Excellence and practices the Service Excellence standards with all customer groups.

Education, Training, Experience And Licenses/Registrations Required:


1.       An RN currently licensed by the State of Texas

2.       Bachelor of Science in Nursing

3.       Certification in TNCC and ENPC within 6 months after hire or as soon as class availability permits.  Trauma Outcomes and Performance Improvement Course (TOPIC) within 6 months of hire or as soon as availability permits.

4.       3 years experience as an RN

5.       1 year management experience

6.       Prior experience with managing Level III or higher trauma programs
