UK Franchise Insights Manager PepsiCo Social Beverages
Location: Reading
Here at PepsiCo our Insights team is invaluable to ensuring we reach our next stage of growth providing a breadth of actionable consumer, shopper, customer and analytic insights across markets. We act as trusted business partners to key stakeholders and drive clarity on growth opportunities, using analytical insights and trends that maximise PepsiCo odds of success. We now offer the unique opportunity to join our ESSA Region Insights Team, driving the insights agenda for the Pepsico Social Beverages Portfolio and working on iconic brands such as Pepsi, 7up and Mountain Dew.

Specifically responsible for leading the UK insights agenda for the UK Social Beverages Franchise Team you will be a critical business partner for the UK Franchise GM plus Marketing, Commercial and Finance Directors. Given the franchise business model you will also have a critical external element to your role as you partner with Britvic to optimise system business intelligence and strategic planning.

Your passion will be understanding and championing analytics. Curious, you will strive for rich insight into business performance/drivers, strategic growth plans, advanced analytics and brand equity tracking/demand spaces. Youll have the ability to engage with key senior stakeholders to effectively influence business decisions, yet be happy to get hands on and gather/analyse insights data.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead systemization of market share & marketing activity performance and bring focus to performance metrics and clarity on cause of change/drivers
  • Identify and track key trends impacting our current/future business performance/demand drivers
  • Lead strategic planning situational analysis process to identify/prioritise growth issues and opportunities for PepsiCo social beverages
  • Drive efficient media investment planning by deploying econometric modelling learnings
  • Leverage good working knowledge of brand health/equity tracking to input constructively into discussions and recommendations regarding brand building
Your Profile:

You will be organised and driven with a creative, influential working style with an ability to quickly spot insights and trends which can have a real business impact.

Qualifications/Requirements

Essential:

  • Strong analytical skills, able to synthesise and integrate learning from multiple sources and see the connections in data, trends and events
  • Ability to combine data, judgement and experience to make effective decisions in complex situations and when there is uncertainty or ambiguity.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to be able to clearly distil complex data and communicate/influence senior stakeholders
  • Strong drive for results, a proven self-starter who thrives on a broad remit and the opportunity to make a real impact
  • Strong FMCG experience (5-10 years), ideally within Impulse Categories, e.g. Soft Drinks, Snacks, Confectionary etc

Desirable:
  • Experience of Market Mix Modelling and in particular digital marketing effectiveness
  • Good knowledge of Consumer Insights principles, especially equity tracking, innovation testing and Demand Spaces deployment
