Keystone Center is seeking a Unit Clerk.   Keystone Center is located in Chester, PA, offers substance use disorder and dual diagnosis treatment for adults.  We are located five miles south of the Philadelphia Airport, making our facility an easy location to travel to and from.

The Unit Clerk is responsible for the maintenance of the medical records on the unit.  Additional responsibilities include general office management of files, ordering supplies, arranging internal consultations and off campus diagnostic test, answers department telephone, maintains efficient unit functioning, performs vital signs and patient monitoring,  The Unit clerk will interface on a regular basis with physician, nurses, patients, admissions and clinical staff.

Education:                              High School Diploma

Experience:                Previous experience preferred

Licensure/Certification:       Certified Nursing Assistant preferred

Knowledge:                            Computer literacy skills required. Organizational, filing skills required.  Medical chart construction and maintenance.

Supervision Received:           Charge Nurse/ Director of Nursing

Supervision Exercised:          None

Line of Promotion:    No formal line

Environmental Conditions: General hospital environment

Physical Requirements:  Ability to stand for long periods of time, occasional lifting and reaching required.  Important physical capabilities include; bending, reaching, standing, listening, verbal skills, pushing, and walking.  Must be able to use computer, fax machine, and copier.
