Sodexo Leisure has an exciting Unit Marketing Specialist opportunity at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, CA. This Marketing Coordinator will oversee the marketing program development, implementation of Sodexo and client programs, communication and evaluation designed to drive sales and increase customer satisfaction. Conducts market research and market analysis. Designs, develops and refreshes communication strategies including web, digital and print. Manages and measures social media in collaboration with the Hollywood Bowl & other Leisure venues.


The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for daily posts/tweets and monitoring of all applicable social media outlets for our Leisure accounts. Ideal candidate will be outgoing, flexible, and have excellent organizational skills, with strong attention to detail and effective interpersonal skills. The Marketing Coordinator will have knowledge of social networking channels and experience as a writer for collateral, websites, Twitter, Facebook, and other similar community sites


Duties will include:

  • Coordinates and implements all unit marketing initiatives to drive sales growth
  • Coordinates unit specific strategic business plan/marketing plans and its implementation, communication and evaluation
  • Maintains and tracks research, customer feedback and satisfaction and reviews statistics and trends with appropriate personnel
  • Gather, track, analyze and report on results of marketing initiatives
  • Responsible for daily posts/tweets and monitoring of all applicable social media outlets for multiple conference center units
  • Identifies needs and makes recommendations for increasing sales
  • Identify and clarify intern/external customer needs and expectations, taking actions to ensure that Sodexo and customer goals are aligned and met
  • Prepare plans for projects or major assignments (i.e., Tasks, Resources and Time Frames)
  • Creates and distributes monthly marketing calendar
  • Participate in marketing conference calls and training
  • Targets product compliance as it relates to marketing efforts such as printing, graphics and advertisings 

Must have demonstrated the ability to use computer and web-based systems (i.e., SDX PC based tools, Microsoft Applications, Web Based Applications, and Social Media Platforms) to input, access, modify, or output information to execute programs or analysis

Position Summary

This position leads coordinated efforts in implementing and deploying unit marketing growth and customer satisfaction and retention strategies. Leads unit marketing plan development, implementation, communication and evaluation with analysis, training and engagement. Leads projects and is a resource for a strategic area. Can work as a project manager and/or liaison for marketing strategies, concepts and projects.
Key Duties
-Student Engagement: Engaging student body with promotions and programs to increase customer satisfaction and retention
-Partnerships: Partner with University for special events
-Web/Social Media: Increase Website and Social Media presence through Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, etc.
-Must have high energy, flexible, team oriented but work independently, and be a multi-tasker. Attention to detail, great communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills.
-Interacts with internal team members, media and public relations
-Ensures customers and Sodexo/SodexoMAGIC goals are aligned
-Coordinate all unit marketing initiatives to drive sales growth and track results

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
