PepsiCo, the industry leader in Beverages, has an opening for a Fleet Vendor Coordinator to provide leadership and tactical execution of the DFW area Transport Fleet Operations based in Lancaster, TX

The candidate must have superb organizational, communication, and analytical skills. The incumbent will be a collaborative and innovative key member of the Supply Chain Team. Must have sound judgment, strong multitasking abilities and the motivation and drive to help the Transport and Fleet Team reach its World Class Goals. Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications is required. Prior Vendor Coordinator and Fleet / Transportation / Logistics experience required. Lean Six Sigma experience is preferred.
Position Description/Responsibilities Key Accountability:

Coordinate the maintenance and repair operations for the tractor and trailer fleet. Ensure preventative maintenance objectives are achieved. Lead the Pre-Approval process of all outside vendor/internal repairs in accordance with the Asset Life Cycle protocols. Collaborate and maintain high levels of communication with all stakeholders (Logistics, Fleet, Finance, Warehouse Operations) partner with HQ and Field Transportation Teams on trailer replacements, adds and moves. Support NAB projects and systems management and operational health. Track and allocate period spend to appropriate cost centers. Receive, Analyze and Process Maintenance Requests via Computer from Outside Vendors. Ensure the management and control of drop shipped parts to OSVs. Maintain various Fleet performance tracking documents via computer to include daily PM Report, Weekly Cost Management Report, Vendor Pricing List. Resolve unauthorized repair issues on both internal and external trailer repair. Maintain all DOT required maintenance records for all assets. Collaborate and partner with Logistics Leaders to achieve daily service objectives.



Proficient in Microsoft Applications (Power Point, Excel, Access, Word)
Experience and high level of capability in maintenance systems, Financial Systems.
Vendor and supplier relationship management, negotiation experience
Lean Six Sigma Trained or experienced

Prior Supply Chain Operations coordination, Control, Fleet Service or Vendor Coordinator Experience

Fleet Maintenance Technical Experience and understanding
Demonstrated leadership attributes to influence others
Willing to travel locally 25%
