Description:

Prudential Annuities develops, markets, and services an array of fixed and variable annuity products designed to help investors generate guaranteed income that they cannot outlive. It is a leading provider of innovative variable annuity products, with over $150 billion of variable annuity assets under management.

As the leader of the Analysis team within the Annuities Assumption Analytics and Modeling Infrastructure Team you will:

·         Collaborate with Assumptions, Modeling, Valuation, Forecasting, Pricing, and other Annuities partners on inforce management and strategic initiatives

·         Analyze projections and propose solutions to multi-dimensional issues

·         Develop analytics and innovative approaches for understanding and explaining our business

·         Set and manage team priorities

·         Coordinate and communicate with Corporate and other functions


·         Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) with 7 years of actuarial experience

·         Experience with variable annuity products with living benefit guarantees and fixed annuities preferred

·         Experience with multiple actuarial functions (e.g., valuation, forecasting, pricing, hedging, ALM) is a plus

·         Knowledge of statutory and GAAP valuation and financial reporting

·         Familiarity with actuarial projection systems (e.g., GGY AXIS)

·         Strong project and process management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks / initiatives

·         Strong quantitative and analytical skills

·         Strong oral and written communication skills

·         Ability to support “big picture” thinking with detailed analysis

·         Ability to balance theoretical and practical considerations, challenge the status quo, and take intelligent risks

·         Ability to partner across business and corporate areas and influence business partners at all levels

·         Highly motivated, conceptual thinker who can work independently and take a leadership role in a wide variety of assignments
