Our organization is seeking a senior business executive to define and own the end to end strategy and execution for Marketing foundational capabilities, including Marketing Analytics and Operations. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of building organizations and delivering results within that space.

The candidate will be responsible for:

Marketing and Customer Analytics – The candidate will oversee the analysis and review of all email and digital marketing, driving communication of learnings & insights (via reporting and executive-level read outs) and influencing business decisions. The candidate will drive high-impact digital customer analytics projects to drive excellence in targeting, segmentation, attribution, and tracking across omni-channel interactions.

Personalization – He/she will develop an omni-channel strategy for Personalization, including platform enhancements and future roadmap. Ensure digital, email and offline channels are leveraging appropriate data to drive messaging, content, and desired actions focused on optimal outcomes. Partnering with Data Analytics team to drive analytic and strategic excellence.

Marketing Operations – Individual will be oversee successful implementation of Prudential wide email and digital marketing initiatives, including enablement and execution of campaigns, as well as the oversight of platform migration across the company.

Marketing Governance – He/she will provide governance and oversight of marketing platform designed to drive campaign execution across multiple businesses, including B2B (i.e., retirement, group insurance, asset management) and B2C (i.e., life insurance, annuities, advisors). The successful candidate will also develop a new function to oversee enterprise-wide consumer-facing marketing strategy and execution, ensuring cross-company priorities and objectives are aligned and being leveraged in marketing decisions while driving visibility and transparency at the executive level.

Marketing Controls – Creating of a business-led marketing review control function, ensuring that process controls, decision making and accountability are occurring at the right levels across the Customer Office. Develop processes that drive speed, accuracy and compliance in the organization while ensuring marketing and execution excellence.

This is a senior level role engaging with teams in multiple geographic sites, and entails careful business planning and resource scaling, economics based business thinking, and quick decision making. Candidate needs to be an operator who will engage frequently with senior level executives across the company, negotiating with internal and external partners to drive start-up like business within a Fortune 100 company

Responsibilities include:

-          Understanding, developing and owning the end to end (from idea to results) strategy for Marketing Analytics and Operations

-          Ensuring integration and mining of large data sets, connecting data from disparate sources to identify insights and patterns using traditional as well as predictive and prescriptive analytics.

-          Successful implementation of Prudential wide email and digital marketing projects and campaigns

-          Oversight of email platform use and migrations

-          Developing and executing a best-in-class Personalization strategy

-          Vendor relationship management and optimization

-          Developing and maintaining consultative relationships with key business stakeholders, proactively identifying and addressing data analytics needs

-          Demonstrate knowledge of business success drivers, industry trends, regulatory issues, and competitive marketplace to ensure proper controls are established

-          Delivery of highly interactive, end to end customer experience including phone, paper and digital channels               

-          KPI accountability for process improvements and efficiencies

-          Serving as a cultural ambassador for a fast paced, technology-enabled, customer-centric financial services work environment

-          Strategic communication, willingness to learn and intelligent risk taking

-          Management of a large team

 


     

    -          Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Management or equivalent; MBA preferred

    -          Minimum 10 years of experience in financial services, preferably in Marketing

    -          Proven track record of successful platform deployment and process management

    -          Consumer financial services industry knowledge and empathy towards customer needs

    -          Excellent time management / organizational and negotiation skills

    -          Strong communication and hands on presentation creation and delivery skills

    -          Strong leadership skills in building, motivating, and operating a diverse team

    -          Ability to go deep into the details as warranted – both a planner and a “doer”

    -          Experience in managing of large teams is a must
