Prudential’s Workplace Solutions Group (WSG) Financial Wellness team is seeking a Vice President of Financial Wellness Customer Strategies to lead the development of financial wellness strategies for employers that increase the financial well-being of their employees and deliver business results for their organization.

Prudential’s Workplace Solutions Group (WSG) includes Prudential’s Retirement and Group Insurance businesses; the Group serves over 20 million individuals across a wide range of institutional clients. The mission of the WSG Financial Wellness team is to lead the development and delivery of capabilities and services that improve the financial wellness of individuals, strengthen the value proposition of and to the institutional businesses, and facilitate the development of deeper consumer relationships.

This leader will work collaboratively with Prudential’s Retirement business, Group Insurance business, the Customer Office, and other partners to define strategies and engagement methods that will deliver quantifiable business results for employers through the delivery of Prudential’s financial wellness solutions. In addition to building models and thought leadership that will address employer needs at a larger scale across the businesses, the leader will also serve as a consultant to a select group of clients on financial wellness strategies.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Partner directly with a selected set of clients to design financial wellness strategies that will deliver high employee impact and business ROI for the employers
  • Develop a financial wellness ROI model for employers in partnership with SMEs across Prudential, including a capability to deliver analytics that quantify ROI impact
  • Scale the businesses’ ability to deliver outcomes and ROI insights to institutional clients
  • Partner with key intermediaries to help shared clients realize financial wellness ROI
  • Lead the development of thought leadership and client case studies that provide proof points for how financial wellness programs have delivered ROI to Prudential’s institutional clients
  • Represent Prudential’s financial wellness product vision to institutional clients, financial intermediaries, and / or industry conferences.


  • Undergraduate degree required; MBA or other advanced degree preferred
  • 10 years overall business experience, with 5 years of experience consulting with institutional clients on employer benefits programs and / or employee wellness strategies
  • Experience within the financial services industry preferred, particularly exposure to products / services that assist consumers in managing and improving their finances.
  • Knowledge of the regulatory environment employers must adhere to within financial services is also preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver quantifiable results to institutions through consulting efforts
  • Experience partnering with broad distribution organizations as a subject-matter expert
  • Ability to lead within a matrixed organization to achieve shared goals and objectives
  • Highly collaborative with strong partnering skills
  • Strong executive presentation skills - both oral and written
  • High integrity and enthusiasm
