Position Summary
The Senior ETF Product Manager is responsible for the management of the ETF platform and for ensuring the overall governance of the ETF vehicle in accordance with legal, regulatory, and corporate requirements while making significant contributions to the strategic direction and execution of the ETF business.
Principal Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
  • Manage, lead, inspire, and develop a team
Technical Expertise:
  • Drive overall platform strategy including product strategy, product development and ongoing product support
  • ETF expert and advocate, internally and externally
  • Substantial Capital Markets knowledge required
  • ETF expert and advocate, internally and externally
  • Identify potential investment strategies to build a robust product launch
  • Identify and leverage opportunities to promote the ETF platform including new product ideas and potential sources of capital for new products
  • Manage P&L
  • Proactively promote ETFs to sales force
  • Respond to internal and client inquiries/requests
  • Present to internal and external audiences
  • Potentially source seed capital for new ETFs
Relationship Management:
  • Build and grow relationships with key internal stakeholders including Asset Managers, PGIM Investments Sales force, PGIM Leadership and functional support areas including Legal, Compliance, Finance, Fund Administration, Business Management  and Transfer Agency Operations
  • Leverage existing resources
  • Relationship manage third party service providers and select vendors

  • 10 years of hands-on Asset Management experience and a proven track record in the ETF market
  • Understanding of and experience working with sales organizations and providing marketing support to global distribution platforms
  • Ability to anticipate and assess future trends and opportunities impacting the industry and business/client base
  • A proven track record in complex organizations and comfortable working in collaborative, matrixed organizations
  • Ability to build trust through cross-functional alignment
  • Ability to transform strategy into action and drive results
  • Aptitude for understanding and influencing the economic levers of the business
  • Track record for hiring, developing and retaining strong and diverse talent
  • Strategic thinking and analytical skills
  • Creative and innovative – challenges the status quo and takes intelligent risks
  • Highly collaborative
  • Comfortable taking the lead and managing change
  • Excellent communication skills including strong listening skills

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Advanced degree a plus
  • CFA a plus
