Our Global Virtual Sales team is on a journey of transformation that will change the experience for our customers, partners, stakeholders and employees, driving higher relevance and stronger business results for Cisco. Global Virtual Sales leverages collaborative technology to grow revenue and build relationships with customers and partners, and we are expanding our sales coverage to help accelerate key market segments including Commercial, Public Sector and Service Provider. These sales leadership roles are core to Cisco's growth and go-to-market strategy and carry a sales goal with a defined list of customers or partners.

What You'll Do

We are seeking Sales Managers, with a proven track record of leading teams of high caliber sales professionals. This individual will be responsible for the management and leadership of sales account managers assigned to Americas areas and territories. Specifically, you will be responsible for leading an account team to grow revenue for Cisco, driving our Sales culture, and managing stakeholder relationships. In this role you will:

* Achieve sales quota in a broad, diverse and complex geography or vertical market
* Hire, develop and retain top talent and communicate the overall organization strategy and business plan to multiple stakeholders in a collaborative manner
* Develop go-to-market business plans to exceed annual product, service and customer satisfaction objectives
* Understand the business climate, competitive environment, and share these findings and developments with management
* Foster and facilitate a collaborative team environment which intersects empowerment with accountability

Who You Are

Minimum Qualifications:
* BA/BS degree required
* 3-5 years of sales management experience building and managing in diverse team environments
* Ability to build strong internal and customer focused relationships
* Track record of strong leadership skills, building effective teams, creating and communicating a compelling vision for the organization, mentoring sales representatives, and achieving significant results.
* Proven thought leadership and strategy development experience
* Exceptional presentation, communication and influence skills (written and verbal)

Desired Skills:
* MBA or graduate degree preferred
* Experience leading an outbound/field sales team
