SignalPath is designing the next generation of software for clinical research sites and those managing site networks. Our mission is to enhance clinical research by dramatically improving the ease and efficiency of trial execution. SignalPath is looking for a brilliant Vice President of Partnerships who is excited about changing the world of clinical research and healthcare. This job requires a sharp, analytical problem-solving mind, consultative sales skills, an entrepreneurial spirit, and a passion for tackling complex medical and technological challenges of our time

  • Convert existing relationships with research networks, conductors of research, and life science partners into signed revenue-producing partnerships
  • Source new potential partnership opportunities
  • Develop and manage relationships with potential partners to advance the deployment of our products through demonstrated value
  • Lead the consultative sales cycle, identifying client needs and selling technology-enabled solutions to meet those needs
  • Partner with SignalPath’s Senior Leadership to define sales strategy and market opportunities
  • Participate in new business proposal writing, development of client presentations, and content development for marketing support materials
  • Be the communication point person, including onsite representation at client meetings (anticipated travel: 20-40%)


Essential Requirements

  • B.A. or B.S. from a top university
  • Demonstrable clinical research domain expertise
  • Consultative sales experience and track record of closing large complex deals
  • 4+ years experience in client-facing roles of increasing responsibility in organizations such as contract research organizations, pharmaceutical companies, top 5 consulting firms or boutique life sciences consulting firms
  • A track record of success in developing long term business relationships with research companies in a strategic and abstract space
  • Demonstrated understanding of the common challenges faced by healthcare providers and clinical researchers and experience bringing about mutually-beneficial solutions
  • Proven ability to think on your feet, work with a start-up mindset, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional written and communication skills and experience developing high profile client relationships
  • Ability to perform in a transparent, results-oriented, data driven culture that demands detail-orientation
  • Must be a proactive, self-motivated, engaging, personable, and positive individual who sees roadblocks as opportunities to succeed
