PepsiCo Foods Canada has a current opening at the Frito Lay Manufacturing Facility in Brampton, ON for a Warehouse Lead (Supervisor).

The Warehouse Lead is responsible for leading the operation of the DCs. The primary roles of the Warehouse Lead are to meet their KPMs and develop Team Members on both the Pre Pick, receiving and LASR teams. The Warehouse Lead has the responsibility to ensure timely execution of product flow to the Sales organization, and interfaces between Warehouse, Traffic & Sales leadership.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of 15 to 30 hourly associates with various levels of experience and education
  • Responsible for safety, service, and productivity metrics for your shift
  • Responsible for people and team development, quality performance, cost, service
  • Motivate the team to achieve established performance targets
  • Facilitate individual and team meetings to ensure consistent team member accountability
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Using computer systems to process orders and address any system issue

Qualifications/Requirements

Experience, Education & Abilities

  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities and leading for results through others.
  • High level of skill in coaching teams and working as a team player. High sense of team effort and contribution to win as one
  • Analytical ability excellent computer skills, system, and process oriented
  • Experience in warehouse environment an asset.
  • High degree of organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Able to set priorities and manage several tasks concurrently
  • Excellent computer skills, system and process
  • Responsible individual with sound judgment skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to take initiative and willingness to learn new skills
  • Works well under pressure

Minimum Job Requirements:
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated people and leadership skills
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts and work weeks including afternoons (2pm-12:00am) and weekends
  • Team based approach to decision making
  • Open to relocation
