The Web Strategist is responsible for maintaining a consistent user experience, growing performance, and ensuring content is findable for owned and operated websites on the Digital Marketing Platform (DMP).

Primary Responsibilities: 
  • Strategize with internal marketing partners on how to take content updates and present them within the DMP structure and guidelines
  • Review and approve wireframes, designs/layouts and content updates against our guidelines
  • Update website taxonomies and page inventories
  • Gather content assets
  • Assign or update tags
  • Package final content via our “Silver Platter” template for hand off to our digital production team.  
  • Perform quality assurance on pages before and after they’re pushed live.
  • Strictly follow, enforce, and improve standard workflow processes
  • Monitor KPIs such as: monthly unique visitors, page views per visit, traffic sources, bounce rates and conversion rates
  • Use KPI data from other DMP sites to inform strategies and best practices for migrations
  • Inform the A / B testing schedule based on areas of opportunity, monitor results and consult on actions
  • Regularly view digital trades and attend at least one conference annually to stay up on the latest digital experience / mobile first trends.  Come away with at least 3 tangible things we can apply to our web experience.
  • Update inventory list for each website monthly.
  • Maintain events listing calendar.  Review master event calendar, work with events team and segment marketers to determine which events should be listed on website, properly tag
  • Maintain promotion calendar.  Gather content, ensure tracking and flawless execution
  • Strategize content cross promotion strategies and determine how to utilize the recommendation engine to promote content
