Job Details


Welder/fabricators must demonstrate the ability to use planning, be able to carry out work assignments with minimum supervision and utilize appropriate judgment in maintaining efficient production operation. Must be able to communicate effectively to make recommendations concerning efficient operation and maintenance of production equipment. Strong interpersonal skills are required to effectively deal with coworkers, supervisors and all other personnel on a daily basis.


+ Must be proficient in the operation and maintenance of shop equipment, welding and sheet metal fabrication. Must be able to read diagrams and schematics in understanding service manuals and other engineering specifications. Must have good written and verbal skills. Requires good planning and organizational skills as well as sound mechanical judgment. Must have demonstrated ability to meet the job requirements.


+ Requires high school education or equivalent plus two years technical/vocational training.


Must be able to read and understand equipment drawings.

Requires continuous physical activity for repair, adjustment and operation of equipment. Must be to lift up to 70 pounds.

Some production areas present to heat, steam and liquids.

Vision must be correctable to 20/20.

Satisfactory performance and attendance is required.
